Topic | So will Gfaqs start banning people for speaking out against China? |
Raze_Razel 10/17/19 4:34:48 PM #84: | Alpha218 posted... you did not prove your thread was not against the ToU Look up..... Raze_Razel posted... I started that topic, focusing that game in relation to a real world event. Not directly about the Hong Kong protests, but about that Hearthstone player talking about the protests in a gaming environment. That game published by Activision/Blizzard, which also publishes World of Warcraft, and already their General Discussion board is frantically censoring all talk about the issue (even to the point that their moderator quit the company altogether). ...so what about other gaming companies? Namely Square Enix, based in Japan, neighbor to China, 2nd best MMO to WoW, possibly a larger Chinese following than that of WoW.....how bad do their moderators and GMs have it to censor people? I mean, anyone passing fifth grade could've seen where I was coming from in my deleted post, but you sent me to trial without bothering to understand the context of a simply worded post? If I said exactly this in the moderation screen, would I have gotten the thread reinstated? You could've just responded to the "bending the knee" comment I made, and assured me it wasn't about Chinese-based censorship, prove there is a human on the other side of the screen here. But you didn't, did you? Alpha218 posted... because the moderation team, as youve already stated in this thread, read your dispute and chose to uphold the moderation. I doubt it was a team effort, just some pro-China cubicle lackey (who never learned about freedom in school) who never bothered actually analyzing that post decided to go off on his own volition. And again, that deleted thread is not being a violation of the TOU in the first place....so keep that part in mind. ... Copied to Clipboard! |
