30/50 but that has more to do with me being an introvert most of the time...I think.

I'm pretty strange, and also I'm different since my wife passed as well. I get along with everyone, make friends easily and am an excellent mediator/diplomat, but at the same time I like to do things solo, I don't even play games online with others (even MMO's) I play solo. I can live without human interaction more then any other person I have ever met in fact. I would be a great candidate to do a solo mission to mars for instance.

At the same time I'm imaginative and understand what people are saying, I'm very empathic, both understanding another persons perspective, and being affected by their emotions (and feeling emotions even from things I see on tv etc).

I've always been very good at seeing patterns, anything with numbers and was able to both teach myself to read (in pre-school...at an adult level before elementary), and learn basic algebra and programing skills in early elementary to start coding on Apple IIc's. Meanwhile there are many things that are obvious to other people that I don't see, or understand, and it's always been like that.

I'm absolutely horrible with dates, birthdays especially, and since I was about 40 my memory has started to go big time...I can literally read a book/series and forget it all within 3 months at this point. I used to have almost a perfect memory for things I read though when I was younger, even while reading on average a book a day, I'd rememeber just about everything from a book I read 10 years ago.

I was much more social when younger as well, and in my 20's I had a good group of friends which I would hang out with and spend most of my free time. I only became as isolated/anti-social in the last 10-15 years since my wife got sick and I was stuck home so much. Even WAY back to my 20's though, when I was playing on MUDs, I still prefered playing games solo...the only exception was in my early 20's with the large group of friends (we would play doom for instance or super mario land etc together and it was a blast).

I wouldn't say I'm high on the autism spectrum at all, but there have always been things that made me a bit different then the norm. Much of it could be caused by a combination of my very unusual childhood in combination with a very high IQ and learning rate. I have always wondered what kind of life I would have had if I had started out with any sort of real/normalish family.
