I came into Part I with no expectations and came away very impressed. I liked the three leads, the central location of Dreamland and its inhabitants, and I liked how they were building to something.

Part II was a disappointment, which I am sure having expectations played a role. They ditched the formula from Part I after like the second episode and made all subsequent episodes essentially stand-alones. That is perfectly fine, but it means that you live and die scene-to-scene, and the payoffs just weren't there. It didn't help that Luci, Elfo, and the townsfolk (somewhat understandably for the townies) took a major backseat to Bean and Zog

I don't know if I will watch a Part III if there will be one.
