China excels at employing Orwellian methods to control the people and the message. So who knows if the mods are playing 'bad cop/good cop' here.

Like maybe a pro-China patsy snuck into the ranks of their moderation staff and started working for the motherland. BUT since the gFAQs team 'doesn't have to explain themselves', they can allow all the fuck ups they want and not get called on it.

That's probably why one of the mods on this thread acted all clueless and stated that he agree with the protest, and he probably does, but he's not the one in charge of moderating the FFXIV board is he?

So perhaps I'd like to believe that it's not gFAQs policy overall, but just the single few slimy cowards who planted themselves into these positions to commit subterfuge, ....like SJW for identity politics that think all speech is hate speech (but that's a whole other topic).
