You'll interact with thousands of people in your lifetime, many of which will be idiots, insane, or just unpleasant or worthless people you shouldn't care about. Caring about all of them without regard to their significance in your life seems like a recipe to be unhappy. It's fighting a meaningless battle. Whenever someone doesn't like you, think about how your life would change if they liked you instead. If the answer is that it wouldn't, or it wouldn't beyond you feeling a bit better about yourself, then it's meaningless, really. That's not to say people on a message board can't be positive influences. Like there are people in this topic that would actually make me somewhat upset if they didn't like me enough to have conversations with me, but at the same time if they disliked me we probably would have never reached a point where I'd care if they disliked me either as they would have shunned me before we had many interesting conversations. So yeah it's just hard to care much about the people who hate in general, you know? --- No problem! This is a cute and pop genocide of love! ... Copied to Clipboard! |
