I got the Railmen to help with the machine to use the Course chip so I can teleport into the Institute HQ, but I decided to check out the other quests and dally around the Commonwealth a bit before continuing with the main story quest. I was doing the quest with the grounded ship piloted by the robot Ironsides. There was a group of scavengers as well, but heck that would be boring and perhaps suicidal to side with them. Well, this is much earlier, but I forgot to say that I found an actually working Vault lol. Might be my first.
