Divisional Power Rankings

1. AFC West
2. NFC East
3. NFC West
4. AFC North
5. AFC South
6. AFC East
7. NFC North
8. NFC South

The AFC West houses three of my personal Top 8 teams. Tough break Chiefs

The Giants are the best current basement dweller as there are four bona fide playoff caliber teams in the NFC East.

A rebounding Wildcats, a steady Seahawks, an underrated 49ers, and a Rams team with the #1 D that should be at worst 3-4 make the NFC West the league's third best division.

An up and down season for everyone in the AFC North outside of the Browns, but the Ravens, Steelers, and Bengals are all above .500 and have quality wins under their belt.

Things looked ugly early in the AFC South with only the Jags doing work, but the Pioneers and Colts' surging Ds have brought them both back to respectable records. The Titans are the Titans.

The Dolphins have exploded these past three weeks, the Pats are looking respectable as they approach an easy backend of the schedule, and the Jets were hammered by injuries early but have started to show up as of late even as the injuries haven't stopped. The Bills are a disaster right now, but the AFC East is trending ever so slightly up.

The Vikings are looking like they could win a playoff game or two, and while an in-depth look at stats do not paint a pretty picture for the Packers, they are 5-2 and leading the division. The Lions are not poor in anything but find themselves in the 17th-22nd range for most major stats. The Bears sneakily have the #11 D, but that offense is abysmal being led by rookie QB Zach Mettenberger who has 5 times as many INTs as TDs and is on pace for the worst rookie passer rating by a qualified player in our league's history. The NFC North doesn't take last because...

The Bucs are 5-2, but they have a negative point differential. The Falcons are pretty mediocre across the board. The Panthers are who we thought they were. The Lightning shook off a poor start and were looking interesting until injuries just screwed things up. They still have a dark horse award candidate in HB Kestahn Moore at least. Congrats NFC South, you bring up the rear.
