Topic	rewatching Naruto I forgot how many flashbacks there are

Their flashbacks started almost immediately and have been waaaaay more prevalent. I'm not sure if it's strictly filler to pad out run times or what. Offhand, I can't think of a single anime that's worse about spamming flashbacks to earlier episodes. Other anime do it in other ways.
