You wouldn't come to an interview in shorts and sandals so why would you show them pictures of you chilling out? sonwhat are you allowed to post on social media? playing games? not professional watching a movie? not professional out with friends? not professional whats the point of them wanting to see your social media if they are afraid to see anything actually social on it The only reason to post pictures of yourself in a pool, or in a bathing suit at all, is to show off your body. It's incredibly unprofessional. Being out with friends is similarly unprofessional. Certain situations are acceptable but anything that shows you with an alcoholic drink in your hand is not ok. No one wants to see you playing games or watching movies, but either way, not professional. Having an interest in things like that shows a lack of drive. I'm just as lazy and unprofessional as anyone out there but you do need to curate the image you put forth on social media, especially when you're job hunting.
