Even before the BIS remake released (and subsequently bombed), Nintendo's upcoming 3DS slate was anemic as hell. There could have been a couple unannounced projects which got the axe following the poor BIS (and Kirby's Extra Epic Yarn) performance, but even if they existed, I can't imagine they were substantial. Nintendo also buried their 3DS releases after Captain Toad, either with ridiculously low print runs (Yo-Kai Watch 3, Yo-Kai Watch Blasters) or minimal marketing (Luigi's Mansion, WarioWare Gold).
