Both democrats and republicans have been calling them illegal aliens for decades. It's not a derogatory term, but a legitimate way of describing foreign nationals living in a country that they are not authorized to live in. This is just the oversensitive culture that's taking over.


And for approximately 40 years, the terms quadroon and octoroon were used on the census to describe people with black ancestors, but times change.

The only people I see in this topic who are over sensitive are the ones getting offended by a change that has zero impact on their lives.


I see a difference here. One term describes race, the other describes legal status. It's understandable that in efforts to curb racism, one would be changed. But to neglect the fact that someone is breaking the law almost legitimizes the act.


How do you identify that somebody is here without proper documentation? Ive never been able to tell a persons immigration status by looking at them.
