Yes, it's the corporations that are directly responsible for the issue, but it falls to the general public to hold them accountable for that by being conscientious consumers and voting in a government that will regulate them. You're not going to stop corporations by yelling at them. You have to stop them by convincing the source of their power that they need to be stopped.

The only way to really this problem is to completely boycott the corporations and stop consuming. I have zero faith the general public will ever do that. It will take a collapse before people change. I hate to be the cynic but I think we're fucked
