If you honestly believe that you need a semi-automatic rifle for home defense, then you're either insane or such an incredibly bad shot that you shouldn't own a squirt gun let alone an actual gun. Now you might say "Well Mr. Charocks, I need it to hunt the wild hogs in my area!" Then you're in the minority but, lucky you, there are plenty of alternatives out there. Now you might say "B-but Mr. Charocks, what if the government becomes tyrannical and we need to overthrow it?" There's a special word for people like you; delusional. The government has tanks, jets, bombs, and drones. 5.56 isn't exactly Gungnur.
