Guess it depends on your musical taste and what you consider influential.

I do like quite a few beatles songs, and can even sing them, but they were before my time, and mainly have the distinction of being the least rock/hard rock/metal type group that I actually add to spotify (other then Enya etc on my new age list).

Ozzy is sure on my list, pretty much all of his songs, but I wouldn't even come close to rating him up there with Metallica (went to a few concerts of theirs as well, WAY better than ozzy's...even that time their equipment blew up and they had to use Korns instead).

I'm slightly prejudiced because I went to only one of his concerts and it was really bad....probably the worst concert I went to (think it was his second retirement tour). I still do like his music though, but yeah, I rate Tom Petty waaay over Ozzy, and even though I love Tom's music, I still rate the beatles over him.

Still have not seen Yesterday (Waiting for it to hit DvD) but am looking forward to it. I know all the words to that song, hey jude and a bunch of other beatles songs.

I might know the chorus on a few of Ozzy's but thats about it, even after playing video games with a bunch of them as part of a puzzle (the actual music video for no more tears etc) that you had to put together while listening to it (so I heard them ALOT lol). Think that might have even been on the jaguar system.
