First Love: Litter on the Breeze

Actor/Musician/Writer Eric Kot is approached by director Wong Kar-Wai (who acts as producer here) to make a film about first love. Wong's cinematographer Christopher Doyle shoots the film, which Kot creates as a documentary/fiction hybrid that playfully pays tribute to the senior director. I absolutely loved it and would recommend it to any fan of Wong Kar-wai if you can get a hold of it.

Kar-Wai Wong & Edward Yang are two filmmakers Ive been meaning to get into for a while now.

Definitely get on that whenever you have the opportunity. I haven't seen everything either of them has done, but what I have seen is amazing. Edward Yang is my favorite of the two, with The Terrorizers and A Brighter Summer Day being among my favorite films of all time.
