Why does that Mion and Shion scene give you anxiety? I thought it was awfully nice of Ryukishi to drop the "one person pretending to be two" charade right away (only for him to do it oh-so-expertly in Umineko. Damn you, Ryukishi, you mad genius! *shakes fist*)

Because the way Shion acts is so so cruel and feels counter to how she was perceived beforehand. I say perceived because this is a perspective game and what Maebara sees and how he interprets things is not necessarily correct. So, she seems sweet and nervous and likeable despite insisting that Maebara takes her seriously as her own person, and it was fun helping the restaurant, but then after they leave together, she just becomes painfully cruel and arrogant and... let's just say Evatrice.

And it's not so much the two people reveal that gets me anxious because i expect it at some point and Maebara is a jerk for not taking them both seriously about it, but dammmnnn, it's just toxic.
