Write-Up: I guess this song was originally written to be a "teeny bopper" song as Stacy Lattisaw who was 11 years old at the time was supposed to sing it. I don't know who the heck she is but I'd probably be saying the same thing about Anita Ward if she hadn't gotten the opportunity to sing this song instead. It ended up being the only thing she became famous for as the song topped the charts. Anita received a nomination for Best Female Vocalist at the 1980 Grammy Awards. Collette who was an Australian singer tried to make success with covering the song in 1989 but it failed to get any attention anywhere but in Australia and New Zealand. ====================================
