Sure anyone with a mouth is to blame

Consider over 90% of soy is not consumed by humans, the vast majority is fed to livestock, and by far most soy (and any other food) consumption by humans comes from people that also eat meat. If the meat eaters ate soy instead of feeding it to animals that alone would drastically reduce the amount of soy that needs to be grown to feed the planet

Soybeans seem important. So, maybe feed animals less soybeans, we can still have soybeans for all the other things we use it for, and still have the oil, I guess. And with animals eating less soybeans, we can grow less. Though, thats only a small part of anything. But that would probably help some...

You can feel sad about a food being gone. Especially if its a favorite, while still living other dishes...
