Read reviews to get a sense why in terms of mapping/intelligence features, app support, cleaning ability, etc. A rubbish one which doesn't work properly isn't worth $10. As for the $1000 models, I don't quite know if their marginal benefits over a mid range option are worth the premium. For me, I'm happy with my Xiaomi Roborock s50. It's the 2nd gen model and the app is great. I also have pets but I live in an apartment with a reasonably square/flat layout and wooden floors making it ideal for a robot vacuum to clean the dust/pet fur/etc up. I have a strip of carpet in the walk in wardrobe and it does that too quite thoroughly! I think there's a newer model of mine but I'm happy with it. Does the job when the cleaning lady isn't here for another fortnight. --- If you can understand this, I'm 2/cosC for you. ... Copied to Clipboard! |
