Aside from the fact that I've basically ignored all previous reboots of the franchise anyway (and wasn't likely to give a single solitary shit about one being made by Netflix), after recent fiascos like She-Ra, Voltron, or Jem, I've given up all pretense that anyone today is capable of remaking any cartoon property from the 80s that doesn't wind up being a hot steaming pile. Has the new Voltron sucked? I still haven't got around to watching it. As for Jem, I had forgotten it existed... so much so that I thought it was a cartoon reboot, not a film. ParanoidObsessive posted... Hell, for that matter, that doesn't just apply to movies. I'd say the same about most 80s films and TV shows.
