Topic	Why do people buy houses if they live alone?

For me I think it had to do with a sense of safety and security and having a space that was completely mine. Apartments just feel so temporary and tend to house a lot of lower class type of people which always had me on edge. Plus, jumping in at the very bottom of the 2010 crash, my mortgage is actually cheaper than any monthly rent I've had --- Clairvoyant, paranormal enthusiast, author.
