| Heroic Bigpun 08/17/19 11:22:01 AM #18: | This might turn into a rambling mess but I had a conversation with a friend of mine about this When I was young, i saw adult hood in two tiers Adult and elderly Yea, I've matured since I was a teen and I'm a functioning member of society with a job and a house, but I dunno. I just feel like me. Nothing just "pops" when you leave high school, you just slowly start doing things on your own There's a middle-aged men like my friend's dad I still feel like he's an adult over me. Maybe that has something to do with me knowing him when I was younger, and obviously he has more life experience than me, but it's a weird thought to have. We're both adults lol It's all stemmed because my friend's little brother told us me and my friend are the coolest adults he knows and we just see ourselves as some schmos trying to survive life. It was an eye opening of sorts. "Oh yea we're grown ass men" Maybe this is an entirely different issue all together, maybe i don't see myself as an idol to look up to, a self confidence thing.
