Tipping is not mandatory. Accept that some people will and some people won't and move on.


Not tipping at all is one thing. Rounding up the tip to the nearest whole dollar is a much more conscious decision that requires more effort.

It's easier to pay with a 100 and a $20 bill then to pay with exact change.


It was a debit card.

Anyway, this is one of those situations where everyone sucks. Waitress was bad at her job, customer was a petty jackass, senator was out of line.

People who dont tip are an inevitability. They are trashy, up their own ass and lack anything resembling class. But what are you going to do? Society is always going to have shitty people. Best to just move on.
