Wayne's World is still so good. It perfectly captures that weird span of like 3 years for Gen Xers that just came and went from 1989-1991. When you think about the 80s, you think "Stranger Things"-like culture or the Breakfast Club and other John Hughes films. But those few years existed in this weird vacuum with almost no antecedent and then disappeared off the face of the Earth when grunge hit. That's what Wayne's World preserves.

And on a separate thought, is there a single person in comedy more important for those of us born in the late 80s than Mike Myers? I grew up with Wayne's World, Austin Powers was the dominant meme generator in middle school before memes were really a thing, and Shrek was one of the biggest film franchises of my youth.
