They make enough money that they can help fund registration and background checks, that money shouldnt only come from taxpayers. And folks who own guns legally but dont secure them need to face legal responsibility if they didnt do anything to keep their mentally unstable nephew or whatever from getting their hands on the weapons. Gun stores need to share accountability too. This is utterly ridiculous. As has been previously stated, are we going to start holding Hershey's accountable for the obese? Is Smirnoff now on the hook for alcoholics? Do we start holding knife manufacturers accountable for stabbings as well?
