I'm so glad I'm not an American politician, where I need to actively ignore terrible things in order to protect the feelings of the "centrists".

If politicians in the US actually catered to the center in any meaningful way, there probably wouldn't be so many terrible things coming from people on both sides of the aisle in the first place.

There's a reason why the standard operating assumption for decades now has been that every election is "least of all evils" and not "vote for the best possible candidate".

Polarizing to two unpalatable extremes just means no mainstream option is all that worthwhile, and the system as a whole is pretty much designed to neutralize potential alternatives.

Those people should be using their own fucking brain to figure out how bad he is instead of just thinking like the hive mind of his fans and others that think he is okay at least "Oh man those dumb liberals keep blowing this shit out of proportion, Trump is doing a good or okay job at least!"

Yes, by all means, please continue proving me right and continue to be part of the problem. I'm sure all the pissing, moaning, and insults will suddenly cause all of the people who don't agree with you to suffer a stunning realization of how right you've been all along, and they'll flock to your insightful analysis.

Sure, it hasn't happened yet, but I'm sure it's right around the corner. Any day now. Totally.
