Dark Souls makes me feel like an idiot because I literally have no idea what the plot is, despite beating it several tmes.
Like the protagonist in DS1 wants to either link or extinguish the flame, then becomes the Soul of Cinder in DS3, and something happens, or something, I don't get it
so, by the end of the first Dark Souls, there have been two people to link the Flame - Gwyn and the player, and by the the time Dark Souls 3 comes along, there have been many who came around to link the Flame, and the Soul of Cinder is some kinda culmination of all of their essences; like, it's not some being that had a life before linking the Flame, it comes from the Flame, or something like that ---
