Topic	IT is probably going to go down as the best adaptation of a King novel.

I know many consider it a horrendous adaptation, when I still feel it comes across in the same "creepy, slowly going insane" vibe. The problem is in the characters. The Shining is supposed to be about a troubled but caring father slowly succumbing to his demons.
