Do I really have to explain why that study, from 15 years ago, doesn't work when talking about more than doubling the minimum wage, and increasing wages in almost every industry in America?

Like, you know that restaurants literally can't double their payroll and stay open without increasing prices, right?

Tell you what - show me ONE restaurant that costs less than $40 per person to get a meal that can outright swallow a doubling of their hourly payroll.

1. The concept of a minimum wage hasn't changed in 15 years, that's not how economics work.
2. Both the article and post ITT have explained that these would be incremental increases, you have a problem with reading comprehension.
3. Restaurants pay a lot of their staff on a tipped wage anyway.

Aside from maybe Admiral, I've never seen anyone here with such an astounding commitment to being wrong about everything. Has it even been an hour since you said the Democratic party was founded in the 1780s? Pace yourself.
