And it's frustrating how we frequently see defendants beg for life in prison, cut plea deals to take the death penalty off the table, etc... and yet the people who oppose death penalty will still claim life in prison is a "worse" sentence, despite the constant examples of it clearly not being considered worse. ....because they suffer longer in prison. So I guess we should do the merciful thing and just execute him, then. By that logic, why not execute everybody to end to their suffering?
