You have to be enrolled as a student to qualify for scholarships. If you pass the payment deadline for your classes without paying, you will stop being enrolled as a student. This will stop you from being eligible for any scholarships you do manage to earn before that point (which won't pay out until the next semester, in all likelihood) as well as preventing you from qualifying for any future ones until you pay up.

And that's even without considering that there aren't going to be all that many scholarships that get offered between September and January that you wouldn't already be able to apply for, as well as the fact that any merit-based scholarships would depend on your getting grades that you realistically won't be getting (otherwise you'd have gotten them in high school and already have some scholarships).

It's also not considering that failing to pay (or at least arrange to pay) your tuition at one school will probably blacklist you from every other post-secondary school in the country, so when this plan fails as miserably as it very definitely will, you'll be stuck paying off that one semester's tuition before you can enact any sort of plan B

All in all, this is one of the worst plans you've ever had, and that is saying a whole lot.
