I honestly can't tell you what the difference between the two is, though. ie, if there's actually different consistency, or if it's the exact same thing only with different branding.

("Chunky" was the original name for that particular type of peanut butter when it was first invented, though. And what I've always heard it called for my entire life. Maybe someone in marketing decided that "chunky" sounds too awkward and pushed to have it changed to "crunchy" instead, because they think it sounds more appetizing? That sounds like the sort of asinine things marketing people tend to do to justify keeping their jobs.)
