I've seen a few of the new shows now and some thoughts

To the Abandoned Sacred Beasts
-Seems fine if not anything special. I know a second episode has aired, but I'm not watching episode 2s until i at least finish stuff that aired in the first week. So some of my assumptions based on the first episode (like the story being about him hunting down his teammates... only to later join up with others like him to take down some the government or something) might be wrong from the offset. But right now this is like a nothing show?

Are You Lost?
-The survival otaku is like just the right type of insane.

Magical Sempai
-Should have been called magical thicc or something. Anyways, I kind of like this. I didn't think it was like laugh out loud funny, but I did find the situations pretty amusing if predictable. I think magician-chan is pretty cute and her voice is absolutely great.

Dumbbell
-First off, the characters they introduced in the first episode are great. I think this is the first show I've seen this season where the animation and art style are pretty big plusses.

Astra Lost in Space
-I can't really comment on how much of the science or logistical things check out or not, like I don't think that's really the point. For a double episode premiere, they do take quite a while to establish things only to come up with a rather not that difficult to accomplish plan all things considered. That said, despite having a fairly large cast they really do a great job at introducing each character in a way that feels natural. What's more is that this is the only show I've seen so far that has a level of intrigue in it where I'm looking forward to watching the next episode.

UchiMusume
-My fucking god, the official name for this show is like wrap around the spine type long. This was very cute. I'm also glad that they don't do the thing where the loli doesn't really understand what's going on. Like, they gave her enough credit to more or less understand what's happening.

Maou-sama, Retry!
-So they replace someone who is very good at a game with someone who designed it. The animation and art is awful, but I mean every new studio has to start somewhere. That said it's just so bland. Just about nothing is new. Even the humor is not very well executed.

Dr. Stone
-Hopefully, they don't screw this up and the show is great. The first episode was good.

Wasteful Days of High School Girl
-I think in terms of humor this barely misses the mark. Like it's almost funny but not quite. I think it really comes down to the characters don't quite have personalities that can carry a show right now and there is not really enough a physical humor side to offset it either. Probably going to give it a little more though because as a sol styled comedy is pretty easy to digest.

Granbelm
-So once every other season or so we get one of these titles that kind of wants to take things from greats from before or make something extremely epic in scope and very early on you can tell that this is just a complete trainwreck.

O Maidens in Your Savage Season
-For as many good parts there are here like character portrayal and setting up their feelings and such for future episodes... my god is this show intent on introducing us to them in some of the most boring ways possible. I paused this like in the middle and looked to see it's not even a full-length show and was surprised because I felt like I was watching forever. Doesn't help that this is a Mari Okada work who hasn't had a great track record recently.

Fire Force
-Fire fighters with special powers fight fire demons or whatever with a kid who is also a fire demon? I don't know. Good first episode.
