the only good part was the Batman warehouse scene

I don't get why everyone likes that scene. Batman doesn't kill. It's ridiculously out of character.

The interesting part of Batman's character was that he became jaded by all the years fighting criminals and the appearance of a god-like being who could destroy humanity if he wanted. Batman was at a point where he lost faith in humanity. He lost his faith in the good in people. This is why he felt so strongly about killing Superman. He believed Superman would eventually turn on humanity.

I liked what they did with Batman's character. Giving us a more brutal Batman who wasn't afraid to kill was something we haven't seen on screen before. And it made his character arc more powerful. He went from believing the worst in humanity to believing the good in humanity. Perhaps it wasn't exactly like Batman from the comics but it provided an interesting story with a depth of character that wasn't afraid to take itself seriously.
