Topic	Can someone explain to me in simple terms what Reddit is?

I guess it depends on the subreddit. On the ones I go to, the ones at the top are changing consistently. Ill read a couple of the top ones, then go back and refresh, and there are already new ones. I actually sometimes have to scroll down far to find the old ones.
