You can join certain boards to see more topics from those boards on your home page. One thing different from this site is you can up- or down-vote comments. And pay real money to give them gold & silver medals and stuff. Comments with more votes go to the top for all to see. Also, they are much more helpful than people on this board. I guess it depends on the subreddit. On the ones I go to, the ones at the top are changing consistently. Ill read a couple of the top ones, then go back and refresh, and there are already new ones. I actually sometimes have to scroll down far to find the old ones. So it's a touch of hipsterism crossed with old people shouting at the kids to get off our lawn. Though to be fair, some subreddits are absolutely terrible.
