Many put it on a pedestal and think it is too pure to be gotten from prostitutes (or lol prostitutes won't even touch them) but can't get girls to sleep with them through proper means anyways because they lack the requisite skills to make that connection. It is basically akin to an alcoholic, if you wish to use a drinking comparison. An alcoholic is who they are.
