Thanos might have wiped out half the universe, but Mickey took out 99% of the SW canon. Who's the real villain there?! Thanos killed innocent people entirely at random. Mickey killed the Yuuzhan Vong. For that alone, I praise the Mouse. And honestly, the (very) few glistening pearls of the EU were fished out of the endless ocean of shit and salvaged anyway (like Thrawn being re-canonized or Kylo basically being budget-version Jacen). The real problem isn't so much flushing the EU out the airlock and into space, the real problem is that Disney hasn't been producing anything better to replace the old canon with. So we're basically left with two parallel universes, both of which are made entirely out of feces. Zeus posted... And please don't let it be a pun on Spider-Man: Far from Home like "Spider-Geek: Far from the Theaters" or "Far from the Boards" or some rot. I usually don't recommend anything that recent, and try to look forward to future geek-flavored references, but now I kind of just want to recommend Spider-Geek: Geek From Geek just to spite you. "Once Upon a Time... in Geek Topic" (or "Once Upon a Geek... in PotD") "Geek Stories to Tell in the Dark" "Dora and the Lost City of Geek" "Geek: Ultimate Alliance" I'd recommend "Geek & Furious Presents: _____ & _____", but that might be awkward because we'd have to pick two people's names from the topics to be in it, and that might make people sad who don't get picked.
