And, this may be a little, uh, unfair, because every Tales game is like this, but the plot felt like it was just throwing new keywords at me because "Every Tales game needs a world defined by unique terms and magical phenomenon" and it didn't feel... necessary. It felt like the plot had mechanics more than it had depth? I don't remember though, this was years ago. You're not being unfair and also correct that every Tales game does that.
