There was no reason for that man and his young daughter to drown in that river because they had secured a humanitarian visa. But under Trumps zero tolerance border policy, a policy not interpreted or enforced by any previous administration, they were held in a detention camp for months for no other crime than legally applying for asylum in the US until they reached their breaking point. Go ahead and defend that if you think the Trump administration is doing the right thing at the southern border --- If they drag you through the mud, it doesnt change whats in your blood ...
