If that doesnt work, take your case to social media and name and shame them until the company fires them to save face. That makes the problem go away. Sad but true. And she could do that to you if the thread she's weaving doesn't come out exactly the way she wants it to. I feel like it can backfire if I get too involved in the conversation but at the same time I dont want people thinking im some incel if I dont get involved in the conversation.
