Why should I accept the refusal of teaching of basic relationships to kids because some religious arse wipes refuse to move with modern times. You shouldn't accept anything that violates your rights. If you attacked then fight back. But you don't have to demand everyone loving you, or else you no better than religious freaks. Live and let live is the best policy imo were not demanding people love us. not the vast majority of us anyways. all this is about is acceptance I think part of the problem is for every 1000 people with normal views about acceptance, you have one nutball of the "you're transphobic if you refuse to date a transperson" variety, but that one person often ends up having more social reach than the 1000 normal people. So then you have these fringe opinions seemingly representing the whole thing, so people get it in their heads that everyone who just wants acceptance has views like that.
