Write-Up: One of three classic songs from Dire Straits to make the list. Tbh though, it's one of the only 3 I would have even selected from the band. I never cared much for the rest of the band's discography even though they would play for over 15 years of a career and become one of the best selling artists raking in over $100 Million in coin. It's impressive but I still couldn't care for their other stuff. This was the first song to top the charts from the debut album. There have been 12 band members in all and they used to frequently associate with other artists such as Eric Clapton and Sting. I guess the British take their records seriously as there is a Guinness book of British Albums and according to Dire Straits had spent more than 1,100 weeks on the charts in their careers. Wow. It seems like that'd be a tedious thing to keep track of. F*** that job lol. ====================================
