I work full time and so does my wife. We arent well off by any means but we arent poor either. We have and all starter house we own, been here for 7 years now. We both have decent careers but neither of us are making life changing bank. We basically live debt free other than mortgage and 1 car loan, and every pay cheque we put a little away for big expenses like insurance or emergencies. Our 2 kids are getting older, and gymnastics alone for our oldest runs us over $300 a month.

I guess I'm saying I'm not worried about paying bills but like most I'm realizing I'll work forever.

My wife recently started making jewellery out of Sea glass we collect at Lake Huron and makes some decent side cash. It's cool becaus she enjoys it so it's not really work per se but even having $250 a month to burn or stick away is nice, and I'm wondering what everyone else does on the side? Legally of course.

I guess lots of people dream of writing a book or other better planned out avenues but that's much more of a risk being that it could yield peanuts in the end.

I dont need ideas like sell plasma I'm not desperate but I wouldn't mind starting a side project of some kind. I'm decently creative and work with my hands at my job, but I have 0 fine art skills. I'm sure many people make things and sell them on places like etsy?
