This makes me wonder if he has ever known a woman who has had an abortion or had to seriously consider one.

Growing up in a major city.

With a high population and very progressive nature, yes I do. Know quite a few. It wasnt easy on them, this was years ago when they were young and obviously had a hard decision.

My wife brought her friend to at least 2 clinics for two seperate abortions.

And "nah its alright. Bust a load in me. I'll just get an abortion" is not something that people say.

Obviously I'm not quoting someone directly or word for word.

I figured you'd be able to get that I'm a making general comment on how lax people can become with abortion.

Dude if you've seen that it's a difficult decision and experience, why are you acting like women are so casual with abortions?

Some women just are. I've known at least five women in my life that have had abortions, one of them even had two. Definitely not speaking for the majority, but still.

Some people are shitty, yes. We shouldn't judge all people by that standard, especially to justify stripping away autonomy.

Not even advocating for that, so you didn't even need to state that.

You may not be advocating, but you're definitely seeking out justification for the behavior of those who would strip away that autonomy. And with that last quote you're helping push this narrative that abortion is the "primary form" of birth control, which is just straight up wrong.
