(It sounds so stupid now. But ya know.)

Assuming red is dead.

@MZero11, for the love of God, read first.

If red is dead, Corrik assumes you'll rush the decision because you already said you don't suspect him. You've already made it clear he is not in your scum list. Think about this.

5tar aside - Red saw the reasons why I'm town, and the reasons why Corrik is scum. Ulti's plan he laid out was *accurate*, and I fully intend to honor it, but his plan was not all that practical in terms of order. I agreed with his pool of 3 but I figured Panthera was the MOST likely because I could picture him as scum with either of Corrik OR 5tar. I had trouble settling my mind on a Corrik/5tar team. I went with the surest thing first.

I figured if Corrik was scum and if I tried to lynch him first, he would do his dumb logic twists and your/5tar/IGCD's eyes would just gloss over and you'd figure he was probably town because "setup meta", plus Panthera would still have been alive to muddy the waters more. It probably would have just mucked things up even further and honestly made people doubt that Corrik was scum.

So..we nailed Panthera, good job, but I should have left my mind more open afterward. Kicking myself right now. Everything about the Panth/5tar team just felt so good to me that I got careless.

The way to catch scum in end game is not usually by nitty-gritty details like "tone", or "gotchas" that involve like the specific phrasing of 4 words in a sentence from day 2. When it reaches end game, mindset is king.

Look at everybody's demeanor during last game day. Clearly, scum was A-OK with 5tar being lynched, right?

What was your own mindset. You wanted to vote me. Nothing I said or red said changed your mind because to you, I was scum and that was that. You saw scum and didn't deviate.

Same for 5tar.

I did the same. I wanted to vote 5tar because I read 5tar scum and that was that.

Same for red. He entered the day saying 5tar was scum and ended the day hammering 5tar.

Corrik?

Corrik fence-sat all damn day. He was fine lynching either me or 5tar.

One of these things is not like the others.

Before you even try to say "that doesn't seem scummy" - it literally is because no town did it.

Take a step back. Breathe. See the bigger picture. Town Ulti and (assuming he's dead at this point) Town Red recognized Corrik was scum the moment he gladiatored early. They both ALSO died declaring me town. Don't bite on the tunnel-visioned "puns is obvious scum" line that you went into night and started day with because you've been letting yourself think that for several days now!

To reiterate - Corrik gladiatored town when the proven town cop had not even shown up to post yet that day.

He never voted Panthera day 4 until it was well established that nobody else's lynch would be supported.

He was the only player who entertained both sides of the 5tar/Puns day.

He went back and forth calling 5tar scum and town a dozen times. Did the same thing for me. Nobody else had such a flippant view of the game.

There is one scum.

Setup meta be damned. We have a first time host. You have to vote end game based on player mindset. Corrik's mindset is not like yours, not like red's, not like 5tar's, (not like mine). Think about that.

Vote for the guy who used his power in a scummy way and whose behavior was measurably different from everyone you know to be town.

Even if you don't want to trust me, specifically, trust Ulti and Red. They are both strong town who lived to see most of the game. They were ahead of the curve on Corrik as scum. But it's not too late and we can still catch up and win for town.
