Every single moment of this movie has been ripped off a dozen times with the aid of CG and digital editing techniques. But The Exorcist invented it all and it is, at least for me, still the best horror film of its kind. The Exorcist is the only movie that has ever scared me so much that I had to turn it off. Granted, I was like nine years old when I first watched it with my friend at a sleepover (our parents were negligent), but that memory has stuck with me ever since.
