The University of Alabama board of trustees are RETURNING the 21.5 MILLION it received from a top donor, the most its ever gotten, after he called on students to BOYCOTT the school over the state's new abortion ban!!

70 y/o Liberal Billionaire, Hugh F. Culverhouse, a real estate investor and lawyer pledged the multi millions in September but recently urged students to boycott the school

Hours later, they announced they were considering giving back his money as Alabama Governor, Kay Ivey signed the most stringent abortion law in the US that ultimately bans all abortions even from incest and rape and make it a FELONY where a doctor performing it could get up to 99 years in the slammer

Alabama is part of a wave of conservative statse that seek to mount new legal challenges to Roe V Wade

Culverhouse says he has no doubt Alabama is retaliating over his call for the boycott, the University denies it and called it an "ongoing dispute" over how the gift was handled.

The University claims it recommended the return before his boycott call and that donors "may not dictate University administration" and that Culverhouse made numerous demands regarding the operation of the school

He called them LIARS over the account but acknowledges there were some disagreements over the handling of the gift as he told President Stuart Bell that the law school should admit more students and his donation was to fund scholarships for that

He thought the matter was resolved but clearly it hadn't..

The 14 members who voted on it, including Governor Kay Ivey, decided to return the money as Culverhouse was stunned by it but said "You probably shouldn't put a living person's name on a building, because at some point they might get fed up and start talking"

Would you ever support a business that was anti-abortion?
