I really liked the animated series Toyman. It was interesting characterization and actor casting. But the DCAU was pretty spot-on when it came to villain casting in general. Yeah, his origin story and character design was really neat. And the DCAU has some of my preferred villain origin stories, including the decision to tie Brainiac into Superman's origin story. Granted, part of my like for the origin stories in the DCAU is that it covered a lot of villains I knew relatively little about in the first place. Prior to Superman TAS, my only experience with Toyman was probably the Superfriends version (which also had a great character design) --- (\/)(\/)|-| There are precious few at ease / With moral ambiguities / So we act as though they don't exist. ...
