For almost everything on The List, the version generally doesn't affect the placement--but I need to specify here that you HAVE to watch the European/extended release of Once Upon a Time in America. It adds ninety god damn minutes onto the American release (making it nearly 4 hours in total) and turns a choppy gangster film into a true crime epic. Once Upon a Time in America flopped upon release, likely due to the edits that they were forced to make.
